Meera Biography

Her original name is Irtiza Rubab, born on 12 May 1977. Most of the people in Pakistan better know her by her famous stage name that is Meera. She started his career as Pakistani film Actress and started her career in 1995 by making her first debut in a movie. She role as sporting actress first time in 1999 which acclaim her in the nationwide for his leading performance in khilona movie. For her work in khilona Movie she won her first Nigar Award and receives a big praise for her work. In the year of 2004 she played an outstanding name the movie “Salakhain” that helps her image to lift up internationally. In 2005 she played a role in a joint Indo Pakistan film ‘Nazar’ with which she debuted in Bollywood.

In 2013, she decided to take step in politics. But later on she stepped back by nominating her mother for the candidate on the reserved seat of national assembly of Pakistan. After this she announced to build health trust for poor people in which she is still unsuccessful.

Meera made her first film in India, called Nazar which made her the first Pakistani actress that be seen in India, as Begum Para, and it was also the beginning of peace talks between India and Pakistan. Nazar was a film directed by Soni Razdan and was the first Indo-Pakistani film that gambles in 50 years. The film featured by the Pakistani actress Meera in Bollywood. Her second film was “Kasak” starring Lucky Ali. Although Kasak failed very critically and commercially overall, But Meera continued to work in Bollywood. His third film “Paanch Ghantey Mien Paanch Crore” was a gross average movie at the box office.

She began acting in her high school days and went on to the modeling for several commercial products while she is still in high school. Irtaza Rubab (Meera) is the daughter of Manzoor Hussain shah and the Daughter Of Syeda Shafqat Zahra. She has Four Siblings Two brothers and Two Sisters. Her Mother is a teacher and an famous educationist.
