ECP announced voting methods and details of polling day – election 2018
Elections are all too near and only few days are left. People are getting involved day by day so do the duty allotted inspectors are also doing their jobs with full enthusiasm and courage. Whereas today, ECP announced the details about polling votes on 25th July (election 2018) to be followed.
The ballot paper will be green for National Assembly whereas white for the Provincial Assemblies announced by the electoral body. A total number of 220 – 240 million papers are printed with full security for election 2018.
Election 2018 process at polling station:
The first and foremost important task will be to check the voter’s identity card and tally it in the voting list. Without this no one will be allowed to cast a vote.
After that, a polling agent will request out the voter’s name with its serial number. Voter’s presence will allow the polling agent to cut its name from the voting list and mark a sign of voted with permanent ink.
Then, the agent will issue the green and white sheets to the voter after his signature on back of both the sheets. The voter will be then allowed to vote for both the assemblies. And insert the sheets to its desire ballot box for election 2018.
Time and Date for election 2018:
The surveying procedure will begin at 8 am on July 25 and end at 6 pm around the same time.
Entryways of the surveying station will be shut after the voting time closes, be that as it may, any voters inside the surveying station will in any case be permitted to cast their votes.
The ballot paper distribution for election 2018:
Islamabad’s Paper Printing Corporation allotted 30 million sheets for KPK and FATA. 70 million sheets are for Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad division.
Whereas, Karachi Paper Printing Corporation printed 100 million ballot papers for election 2018. Which will be distributed to Sindh, Baluchistan, Bahawalpur, Multan, DG Khan, Sargodha and Sahiwal divisions.
According to the ECP, the distribution of ballot papers is set today and delivered to many of the district.
