Cinemas Open in Saudi Arabia After 40 Years Ban
Saudi has launched its first Commercial Cinema after a Long time of 40 Years. Now finally the ban has lifted and they decided to make proper cinemas for their people. As it was closed by the Muslim Scholars and their elders who thought them that it is Haram and it is not a Part of Islam. Still many people around the world are against them but they made it possible. This idea was pushed by the 32 Year Crown Prince who opens up the complete conversation with Muslim Kingdom
Black Panther becomes the first movie to shown in Saudi Arabiya(Riyadh) Cinema in 40 years. They have placed a Special Screening before opening the cinemas on their Actual Date. According to the Reports it was a Mega Event and people were gathered to watch Marvel Blockbuster Movie Black Panther and it received a Gala Premier on 8th April as they had a deal with the US theater chain that they will open about 40 cinemas in 5 coming year. This special screening was only for the officials and their special guest not for everyone.
Saudi Arabia Lifts Ban For Cinemas After 40 Year
The Kingdom Banned Cinemas in 1980 and lifted the band in 2018. The Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was under pressures during the opening but somehow he manage it all. Thing went in his favor as his brave decisions were accepted by the people. He was in the brief discussion with the Entertainment Authorities and US AMC from 2017 to bring up the US based Screening in Saudia. So know it all happens and Cinemas return to Saudia and the First AMC cinema will be located in King Abdullah Financial District. The theaters will be featuring 500 Leather seats, Balcony Levels, Orchestra and Marble Bathrooms.
The King reported that people use to watch movies at home on channels and arranging special Screenings far away so why cant he make it official. Some reports also said that the cinema will not be in public places it will be far from the areas and it will be the same cinemas as it is in other parts of the World. To serve the Population of 32 Million they have decided to open 350 cinemas with 2500 screaming which they hope they can collect $1Billion in Annual Ticket Sales. The project estimated the time till 2030. However the prince has also taken the steps last year on Women Driving as he lifted the ban over them and Gender Mixing.
